OUR STORY
Our history
Hilandero Houses was established in 2010 and is a locally funded company based in Estonia. The company forms part of the holding company Mooni Invest OÜ. Our initial business focus was modular construction only with the primary market our northern neighbours in Finland. The company’s production complex is strategically located 30km from the Estonia’s capital Tallinn to ensure efficient logistics and good connections through the regional port of Paldiski. Our capacity, production space and construction volumes have significantly increased year-on-year basis. Our most significant milestone to date is adding the construction management to our business portfolio.
Hilandero people
Hilandero is a 100-people strong family business with most people engaged in the design, production and installation of our modular houses. We also have partnerships with leading experts and firms for architectural and interior design solutions. The company continues to expand with a focus on IT development led by our in-house development team, developing Frameron.


Hilandero customers
Hilandero’s largest customers are real estate development companies, and local governments. The introduction of our innovative project management software Frameron has resulted in exponential growth of Hilandero’s customer base, as the use of the program significantly reduces geographical constraints and saving our clients up to 30-50% in project management costs. Hilandero’s modular houses are used across various markets and end-users. Whilst historically, our main focus has been in apartment buildings and terraced houses, in 2017, we started operations to deliver buildings in the public sector.
Financing of development projects
Hilandero’s range of good cooperation partners includes various financial institutions, and thanks to its long-term experience and trust, Hilandero has the ability to finance various development projects or be a financier for smaller construction companies. Hilandero has the advantage of high capitalization and liquidity ratios, which ensure the company’s reliability. A more detailed financing solution is created in cooperation with the customer, taking into account the needs of each project.


Continuous development
Quality management has been our primary focus since founding the company. In 2014, Hilandero Houses was issued the quality management standards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The EOTA, ISO 9001 and CE certifications followed thereafter. The desire to achieve the most accurately managed work processes inspired Hilandero to enter the IT segment. Today, Hilandero has completed the complex web-based project management software Frameron, which is the most modern quality management tool. The focus on quality management has allowed Frameron to thrive and grow. By now, our production area has grown to a whopping 8600 m2, which enables us to increase our production volumes to 40,000 m2 per year.
