Modular construction is a
Modular construction enables to build in unlimited volumes. The installation process where individual modules come together logically is fast and cost-effective delivering high-quality products. The results range from individual residences to fitting modules into a larger building to accommodate offices, schools and hotels as some of the examples of completed works by Hilandero.
Benefits of modular construction
A turn-key solution
Modular construction means that the entire project is carefully planned and prepared from A to Z before the actual construction work commences, saving the customers from expensive repairs and alterations common in a traditional building process.
Modular construction process is not affected by changing conditions such as weather, which in turn ensure stability, quality and virtually no delays in delivery.
90% of Hilandero’s construction work is completed in the manufacturing factory. This facilitates waste sorting and recycling, resulting in the reduction of our ecological footprint.
Efficient use of urban space
Hilandero’s modular elements are 90% ready-to-use when delivered, which means significant reduction in disruptive activities such as noise, building waste etc in urbanised areas.
Modular construction includes numerous cost-effective standardised technical solutions, without impacting the versatility of any project.
Our modular construction solutions are ideal and cost-effective for projects in unique geographical locations as well as for reconstructions with special conditions.
WE ARE MODULAR CONSTRUCTION EXPERTS
Every single project that Hilandero undertakes starts with a detailed plan. Our approach is holistic where Hilandero’s services include architectural design, constructive principal building design documentation; electricity and low voltage; water and sewerage; ventilation; heating; interior design and furnishing as well as coordination with the necessary authorities. Hilandero also collaborates with many design and engineering companies. Our software provides a clear visual overview of the entire process, enabling accurate financial planning for customers.
Hilandero’s manufacturing process and material storage are indoors to ensure maximum production quality. We have 8,600m2 of manufacturing space with an ability to deliver an annual production capacity of modular elements of up to 40,000m2. Our standardised construction minimise mistakes and human errors. We use pre-milled and end-joint wood from CNC benches as well as products and materials that are CE-certified and/or approved in the country of destination. Hilandero is certified by EOTA CE as well as by ISO 9001/14001/45001 management and quality controls.
Transporting the modules to the installation site is a critical factor for a successful delivery. For transporting, all Hilandero’s modules are packed in a waterproof vacuum film and are transported under a double roof. All modules have a unique serial number for a quick and timely installation. Hilandero installation teams are specialised and experienced, and use our proprietary software to ensure that each stage in product transport and installation are quality controlled real-time. Of course, the transport and installation phase is under insurance coverage to mitigate all risks arising from the external environment.
